charger, it's been fine since new (last year) just moved to slip from mooring and shore power is on, I have 110V coming into unit...no lights on display, no hum noise..nothing, cgarger not working. It's like there is no power to it at all but I put voltmeter on wires going into unit marked "ACin" and it reads 110. ideas?
Sw251mc is not the model number of this unit. Please reply with the correct information listed on face plate of unit. It sounds like you may have blown a input fuse. Either way, this unit do not look to be a cheap unit and before the unit become totally useless, it should be serviced by a certified technician. I have a sail boat and have been in this position myself and would rather spend $50.00 bucks in a service which will warranty the unit than, take a chance on have unit junked because of a halfa_ssed repair. Anyway, look on the front and rear of the unit, for a fuse and replace if necessary. Happy Holiday's John
Thank you for your reply with the additional information.
This inverter is a workhorse and has a pretty good rating.
At the same time, the unit is very sensitive to inconsistent and voltages delivered by generators.
Either way, I suspect you have taken out a input fuse because you have stated earlier that, no lights, charger not working and no hum.
You will most likely find a round donut shaped fuse holder in the back of the unit. Where you push in and turn, to release.
Really, can't be of much more help on this end.! Thank you for your reply with the additional information. This inverter is a workhorse and has a pretty good rating.
