Check water level on Fuji 4500 printer keeps showing on panel. I have changed water and water is at proper level. I have repowered printer many times and an error E211 came up one time. Please tell me how to fix. Thanks! Bill
' Re: Fuji Pictrography 4500 I use to work for Fuji and actually repaired these. The price is about right. It is worth between 2000 and 3000. The 4500 is the last of the PG's and no longer made. They are very reliable and phone support is free. You will not get a live person for phone support and they will call you back. (Eventually). If it breaks...Good luck getting a tech to repair your machine UNLESS you register the machine and get an account set up. Even if you do that GOOD luck getting a tech for repairs. You are not a Walmart and you are on the bottom of the list. You need donor and reciever to make prints (expensive material) Make sure the laser is calibrated. As far a maintaince, just change the hose kit on the maintaince cycle and use the recommended water. ( I believe it uses distilled water only. Did I say parts for repair are EXPENSIVE !!!! Did I say a Service Repair tech is EXPENSIVE !! Did I say not all techs know how to fix these in the field or on the phone Why use Old techology and no warranty. I would go with the ASK 4000 for 2500 at B and H. The PG 4500 IS BIG !!!' --- I hope this post helps!
I have a Fuji 4500 and a Fuji 4000 early model. I up graded and now using the 4500 because I am using a PC. The check water level warning keeps coming up. I changed water and I have been using distiled water. The water pumps thru the printer and drains when the power is off. I ever changed the water bottle senser and still shows this error. Is there another senser that detects this condition/ What else wolud you suggest? Please reply ASAP.
Thanks!

Disconnect power, empty water, and check for clogs or blockage in the water supply hose running from the water bottle. If that does not fi the problem you may need to replace the water cartridge or the sensor. In that case you will need to contact Fuji at the number listed on manual, to arrange repair or to get the parts.
I have turned power off and restarted it. Refilled water tank and changed filter. The pump does pump water in the tray and dumps it when you turn the power off. I just purchace this printer and it worked a few times. I am using this printer as a moble printer in a van to do special events. I was very warm when I got the E221 error code. What are yuor thoughts?

According to a post I read on the Fuji 4500 printer, the printer must use distilled water and there is a hose kit that must be periodically replaced:
