This foul smelling odor is coming from the outside of my refrigerator. It is like a chemical smell. I have removed the drip pan and thoroughly cleaned it and replaced it. The smell is still there. This smell did not occur until I unplugged my refridg. to see why it wasn't cooling. I left it unplugged overnite and started it up again the next day. This is when the odor stared. I had an appliance repair man come out and he replaced the defrosting device that had actually broke in half. The fridg is running fine now, but I have the smell? Can anyone help?
