Chevy impala cuts off while driving
I have a 2005 chevy impala 3.8 engine. it cuts off while im driving, the battery light pops in the message center. the steering wheel and the breaks lock. after a while it starts back up and it wont happen again for weeks. can anybody please give any suggestions?

Check for any stored engine codes, this may give you an idea of any problems that may cause your complaint. Possible crank position sensor, cam position sensor or ignition module would cause a 'die in flight' situation.
