Circuit Issue with Archos 605?
Doesn't charge, the screen tells me that it's hooked up via USB. The charging LED does not light up or flash and it's not recognized by my laptop when it's either in Ubuntu 9.10 or Windows Vista.

The charging element in the Archos has plagued many people not just you in order for this to be fixed it would need to be sent for authorized repair or purchase parts yourself and do it. First off if its under warranty take it in.
The battery also will need to be replaced as well.
