Cisco router 857
I have cisco router 857 (cisco857w-G-A-K9) V02
And i have a problem to configure this router using hyperterminal program in windows XP Pro.
What have i done so far is: When i connect this router to PC through Console cable and open hyperterminal with correct settings Bit's per second 9600, data bits 8, parity none, stop bits 1, flow control none and then i switch the router, then pressing break/pause button, i see the boot process but i dont see rommon> prompt what can i do?

Hey you are saying that you want to configure the router,, but rommon mode is for breaking the password....do u forget the password of the router......can you explain why u need to log in through rommon mode
