Citroen C8 2.0 HDI external temperature always wrong!
Can anyone tell me where the sensor/sender unit for the external temperature is located on my 2005 Citroen C8 please. Even when the windscreen is covered in frost it still reads 20oC !!!

It\'s a small probe inside the passenger mirror. Look underneath for a little lump, looks like a water droplet. My C8 reads 58 degrees! Probably a similar fault. Removing the mirror is not bad, tilt to extreme to reveal metal spring clip inside. Putting back is a real pain.
Cheers i had a "quick" look today, 3 minutes to take the mirror apart and best part of 30 minutes to get the metal spring back in place!!! got to try and find a new sensor now.
