Take the bowl off of the carburetor. It looks like a little bowl. There is either a bolt that holds it in from the bottom or it unscrews CCW from the carb. Clean it out, make sure the floats are free and you can move them up/down. They float controls the needle valve. Bad gas usually does this. You can try an additive from the parts store for your gas. First, what I like to do is whack the side of the bowl with the handle of a large screw driver just in case the floats are stuck inside. You'd be surprised how many times that works for me...Or get gassy and take it all apart..
