Clicking noise on booting up, Mac OSX does not recognise disk,
Hi There,
I have a Maxtor OneTouch 4 500GB, it doesn't have any utilities installed on it and I don't use it for backing up, just dumping and extracting files. I have been using it with my new MacBook Pro for about a month now with no problems, until this morning!
I am desperate to access these files, very important stuff on here!
On plugging it in it makes a clicking noise and my mac does not recognise the disk now. I havent tried anything else except unplug it as I am too scared too, please help me
