You can find the driver in the Buffalo download archive for older products:
http://site2.buffalotech.com/support/downloads2.php
Choose from the menu.
You also find manuals and set-up guides there.
If you have any more questions, just come back here and leave a comment - I'm happy to help.
Good luck!
Hi there,
I looked at the drivers. I downloaded them and unzipped them. (Do yo have a problem here?)
There are no setup files, so what you have to do is:
- Drag the unzipped folder to the Desktop.
- Right-click on "My Computer"
- Choose "Manage"
- Go to "Device Manager"
- Look for your Buffalo adapter. You might have to expand "Network Adapters" or look under "PCMCIA"
- Double-click your Buffalo entry.
- Go to the "Driver" tab
- Click on "Update Driver"
- In the "Update Hardware WIzard" (if you are using Windows XP) say "No" to the automatic driver search. Click Next
- Choose "Install from a list or specific location". Click Next.
- Choose "Search for the best driver in these locations". Un-tick "Search removeable media". Tick "Include this location in the search". Browse to the unzipped folder on the Desktop and locate one of the folders (WIN9X_MEor WIN2000_XP). What you are looking for is an .inf file, which is the driver.
- Click Next and finish the wizard.
Download the "Quick Set Up Guide" from here - it also shows how to install the driver. If this is not working or not clear to you, let me know.
