Clock is on but won't keep the time
I turned my clock on.. it didn't turn on automatically like usual. i left it plugged in for a couple mins.. and then it turned on.. it came up with the wrong time so i set it to the right time.. but then 3 mins later the time stuck.. and it's been at the same time for an hour now.. just wondering whats going on with it..

You may have a problem with the lithium battery. They have a three year shelf life and sometimes power surges or outages will reduce the life of the battery. You can try replacing the battery and see if the clock returns to normal operation.The battery type is a CR2430. This battery is sold at most electronic stores and some large drugstores and supermarkets. Fry's Electronics and Radio Shack carry them. If this does not fix the problem you may want to contact Emerson customer support at this telephone number 1-800-898-9020. Give them the model number of your clock radio and the problem you are having with the clock. I hope this information help you with your Problem.
HI. ON MY CLOCK IT ALWAYS TAKES CLOSER TO 15-20 MINUTES FOR THE TIME TO RESET IF I UNPLUG IT FOR ANY REASON AND THEN HAVE TO START IT UP AGAIN. DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU MAY HAVE THE CLOCK SITTING, IT MAY NOT BE PICKING UP THE PROPER RECEPTION FROM THE ATOMIC CLOCK, THEREFORE IT WON'T SET ITSELF. ALSO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SET YOUR CLOCK FOR THE CORRECT TIME ZONE THAT YOU LIVE IN. YOU MAY ALSO HAVE TO CHANGE IT YOURSELF WHEN WE HAVE THE TIME CHANGES TWICE A YEAR, DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU LIVE. MY BUTTONS FOR TIME AND ALSO THE ALARM SET BUTTONS, ARE VERY PRONE TO "STICKING" AND I HAVE TO ACTUALLY SLIDE A NAIL DOWN THE SIDE OF THE BUTTON AND MAKE SURE IT IS NOT DEPRESSED AT ALL BECAUSE THEN IT STICKS ON WHERE EVER YOU LAST HAD IT. I SOMETIMES SET THE ALARM AND THE BUTTON STICKS AND IT THEN DOESN'T REVERT BACK TO CLOCK TIME AND THE ALARM WON'T GO OFF. HOPE THIS MAYBE HELPS YOU.
