CLP 300 toner cartridges don't have a chip
My toner cartridges (new with the new printer) do not have any chips in the spaces provided on each cartridge. How does the printer know the status of the toner and how do I tell the printer that the toner is now full again without the chip? I don't want to have to buy the chip when it obviously didn't need them in the beginning. I refilled the toner myself and it works fine otherwise but keeps telling me the toner is low.
I also don't want the printer stopping because it thinks the toner is completely empty.

New Models of Samsung Laser printers come pre-packed with Cartridges that have no chips but an empty space where the chip should be. These chipless cartridges do not need to have a chip because the printer is pre-programmed to run for one cycle. These pre-packed cartridges can also be refilled in the same way but will need a reset chip.
