Clutchless motor relay chatters GE Profile Prodigy WPSE4200A
The motor was replaced to a clutchless motor about 1 year ago. Recently the relay contacts burnt up and the motor won't start. New relay was installed and I can see the motor try to start but the contacts still chatter and I see them arcing. The capacitor was discharge for testing and with a digital meter I see numbers pop up momentarily on the k olms scale and then 0.L each time the leads are reversed. I even tried a new motor.

Can't really test a capacitor with digital meter (analog with a 10K scale works much better for that) but your problem is most likely the wire lead(s) to the capacitor. Check the two yellow wires, especially at the push on wire terminals which go onto the capacitor.
