Comcast Remote requires 3 digits be entered to change channels
New comcast on demand custom dvr 3 device requires I select three digits to change channels (sony t.v.) any way i can reprogram it so that I can just push ''8'' instead of ''008''?

I had the same prob and found the answer posted elswhere.
This worked for me...
If you go into the main menu under Setup --> Guide Setup --> Set Auto-Tune to "YES".
now the channel will change without the 3 digit requirement.
