Comfort-aire BHD-301 de-humidifier will run when humidity control knob is turned on from the 'off' position. It will only run for about a minute or so then turn off. It won't turn again though. I have to turn the knob again to the 'off' position then on again and it will then run again for a minute or so. I can repeat this continuously but the unit will never automatically turn on again while the humidity control knob is in a running position.\r\n Thank you, Keith Kenyon

You have to change the filter ..cause when this is damaged it does not sense the difference of the air humidity ...Practically it does not retain the water ..and cause of that the machine gets to the conclusion that the air is not humid so .it stops due to the humidity sensor..or water lack in the retain area..
