Compressor will not engage when turned on
Hi, bought this new but dent and scratched as is, the power come's on but the compressor won't work. Took the cover off the compressor componet's and there was a part that was SUPER hot. The part unplugs from the compressor. Help . Is this a fuse I can replace ?

The part you are talking about is a compressor start relay. Type in "LG refrigerator compressor start relay" in ebay and it will pull up a picture. The compressor is extremely silent so you might need to put your hand on the bottom part of it, the top gets hot, and you should be able to feel when it kicks on (ever so slightly). You should be able to take a volt meter to this part to see if it is putting the 120V to the compressor.
No fuse.
suspect compressor is seized
