Computer does not recognize the cd-rom drive
Computer(life book N3010) does not recognize the cd-rom drive. I replace the drive with the same toshiba model sd-r2412 as the original would not burn a cd(reading a cd was OK). The ver number and the rom ver number are different. Do I need to update the driver?

Possible, you can also search if your registry files have Upper and lower filters, the path is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
then restart PC
