Computer on 1991 sprint cl
Need a computer for a convertible . After dozens of e-mails around north america I finally found a guy who said he had a part for me then he writes that the computer from a hard top isn't usable in a convertible . Is this true ? I can't see that it is as the engine and body are the same except the cropped top . I like my car .Driving down the highway felling the wind bounce off my forehead and picking the bugs out of my teeth . What could be better ? It is also great on gas ,even after 18 years . Any kind of a clue would be great .
Thanks .

I have a complete wire harness from a 1991 Chev Sprint convertable. I bought a 1993 Suzuki Swift GT and have completely stripped my Chev and now put everything from the GT in the convertable...including the high-output 16 valve 4 cylinder, dash, wireharness, power wndows & doorlocks, power trunk and trunk, bigger disc brakes for the front and discs for the back. I used the suspension struts and sway bars as well. This was an easy swap but took about 3 months straight to put it together. I coldn't find a rear factory spoiler (rare) but I found one off of a 1997 Dode Shadow ES works perfect...the factory 14x5 GT rims and the ground effects complete the look...I even used the Suzuki steering column and changed the car from an automatic to a standard as well. the Suzuki decals on the side add to the final look.
Let me know what you need...I also got a 1994 Geo Metro convert. for parts with the airbag when I bought my Chevy last year.
