Computer restarts on game start
First off, my specs (copied from dxdiag):
BIOS: PhoenixBIOS v6.00PG
Processor: AMD Athlon XP 2600+, MMX, 3DNow, ~1.9GHz
RAM: 2048MB RAM
DirectX-Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
Graphic Card: ATI Radeon HD 2400 Series
Chiptype: ATI Radeon Graphics Processor AGP (0x94C4)
DAC-Type: Internal DAC(400MHz)
Overall memory approx.: 256.0MB
Driver: ati2dvag.dll
Version: 6.14.0010.6806
I recently got a "new" computer from a relative. After i've set it up all new, i tried to install the GFX driver with microsoft's hardware manager. Well, it didn't find anything.
Then i went on ATI's homepage and got their latest driver for my GFX. Started installing it, and got an error saying something like: "No compitable hardware/driver softer found." Something like that, can't remember it anymore.
Well then, i just used that driver that my relative saved on another partition (not been formatted). Well, it worked.
Then after i downloaded two games (namely Flyff and Counterstrike: Source) my computer just restarts when the game starts. No error, nothing.
Sidenote: My relatvie used to play games (like Age of Conan etc) on that computer.
I hope someone can help. Thank you

Remove all traces of ATI drivers from add/remove programs and reboot before trying to install the newest Catalyst Control Center. The latest - 9.4 - does NOT have your card listed (they list the PCIe version, not AGP).
Recently ATI removed support for many of their "legacy" cards. 9.3 may be of more use to you.
