Video Game Consoles & Games - Electronic Arts - Battlefield 2142
The only time my computer kept restarting in gameplay i thought it was a directx issue or graphics card driver issue, it actually turned out to be an out of date soundcard driver that was causing mine to crash. Have you check every driver is up to date?
to increase the virtual memory go to control panel>sysem>advanced system settings> under system properties click on the advanced tab then in the performance box click on settings, next under the performance options click on the advanced tab, then click on the tick to take it out of the automatically mange the paging file size for all drives and then click on the change button under the virtual memory settings and adjust the size.
If windows is automatically managing your page filing I really can't see this being the issue.

you are welcome, if you did increase the virtual memory as xtream-think suggested and it helped a little then the next best thing to do is increase your ram. Thanx for the rating.you are welcome, if you did increase the virtual memory as xtream-think suggested and it helped a little then the next best thing to do is increase your ram.
