Computer won't recognize MuVo2
I accidentally removed the USB cable from the MuVo2 player without disconnecting it safely via Windows.

My problem now is that although I can still play the mp3 files that were on the player at the time, I can't get my computer to recognize the MuVo2 through windows explorer to drag and drop files to. When I go to the USB device manager, it says that the MuVo2 is hooked up and functioning properly--but shows up as a generic usb storage device in Windows explorer.

I've tried upgrading the player's firmware (which it did successfully) and I've tried to clean up files, run scan disk and reboot in Recovery mode (none of which have worked because my PC doesn't recognize the player properly).

I've tried downloading and installing Creative's MP3 recovery program, but the MuVo2 is not supported on (so that didn't work).

When I plug the player into the USB port, it shows that it's hooked up, but with a flat line between the USB symbol and the player symbol on the screen---indicating no back and forth activity.

I just want to be able to change the freakin' songs on my MP3 player again----anybody have any other ideas?

thanks---
