Conair HC248 trimmer trips wall outlet (trimmer is 8W, wife's hair straightener is 35W?). Turning 'power' screw doesn't seem to help!
My outlet has a built-in resettable breaker and every time I use the test function or just turn the Conair HC248 on, it blows the breaker. My wife can use her higher power straightener and blow dryer (~35W) while this trimmer is 8W! Tried all different ways to lower power with built-in "power screw" (potentiometer?). Any advice would be appreciative!
