If the compressor is running your problem will most likely be the capacitor for the fan. If the capacitor looks like it has expanded that's a good sign it is bad. Some units have a 2 pole capacitor that runs the fan and compressor and it is possible for 1 side to be bad. Your fan motor could also be the problem. Try to spin it by hand and see if it rotates freely. If you have a multimeter check the fan windings resistance. You can also use a meter to check the cap. if it has that function.
