Connecting two routers to extend network
I have a TrendNet TEW-432BRP and a Linksys WRT54g v5 and I wanted to connect these via ethernet wire and set one of them up as a repeater. Is this possible? How would I do this? Do I need to add third party firmware to one? I see the WRT can accept DD-WRT-micro

Router A is connected to the modem. Setup router B to run as access point only. assign an un-used IP address to router B. Turn off the DHCP server on router B. connect a LAN port of router B with a LAN port of router A .do not use the Internet port of router B. do not configure WAN settings in router B. both routers must have the same wireless settings except for the wireless channel which should be different. Set the same SSID and the same wireless security settings on both routers. Good Luck
