Both of the USB connections (printer & computer) use the Male A USB connection. I ordered the cable online...it came..but it's over 10 feet long! I'm not sure if this is causing my problem (manual recomends cable no longer than 10 ft.) Maybe the cable is bad, do you know of a store where I can buy another one? I'm loathe to wait and order another one online...I need to print asap.

I can't manage to configure the port so my printer will print! My computer will not automatically recognize "new hardware", so I have to select/name/configure the port myself. I'm clueless. The online manual told me to create a port and name it "USBnnn", where n is a number. I choose "USB001".

Nothing. Not even a test page will print. My printer prints directly from a memory card and makes copies...but I can't get it to print anything from my computer.

I assume the drivers were all installed correctly. I used the CD and went through the steps(drivers took 150mb!).

Please help.
