Connection issues. I plug in this drive in any computer and it works perfectly. It's a 4g pny attache drive. I try to use it on these old biostar computers at school and it randomly disconnects after a little bit, usually during a data transfer such as writing or stuff like that, copying files on or off of it. It is extremely annoying because I've lost days of work to this piece of ****, and I severely need to fix it, I've tried formatting it, and even downloading programs to "truly write it to zeros" basically low level format it, to no avail. I've formatted it using windows built in shell one, and the command prompt as well as chkdsk and doing the built in one too. Nothing works. It has a little light that flashes when data is transfered and when I try a disk check on the biostar it flashes as if it's active then all of a sudden at around 28 to 32% it just quits, and afterwards it just says you can't open the drive for direct access, same thing happens if I'm moving or writing files on the drive, so I have to remove and reconnect it to get it to work, however it is only a temporary fix. They are running on windows xp and so is this computer both use the same flash drive driver from windows. I have no problems on any other computers at school nor on my home computers.I'd like to get this fixed, thanks in advance for any help. And if you suggest replacing it, I would if I could spare some money but that really isn't an option. sidenote: I couldn't figure how to get rid of the other one but it randomly stuck it in that category so I just opened a new one under the correct category
