Connection problem I recently bought a compaq laptop and want to add it to my home network. I can't. I have 3 computers and 1 laptop already linked to my wireless network and have tried many ways to connect, removing security etc. I have a Belkin N1 mimo wireless router. What am I doing wrong?

Don't shout at me, but many of the older compaq laptops did not come with a wireless nic installed, and the ones that did sometimes did not support G let alone N.
If able you need to check that the Wireless NIC if installed/avaliable supports your wireless router or most likly the otherway round.
firstly I would try removing any USB wireless adapters that you may have in use from one of your other computers and try it in the compaq, if sucessful you know that it is not your setup of your home network at fault.
