Controller port what does it mean if its "soldering". ooh yeah and i opened the system up and on the bottom part of the master system below the 1st port, there were little metal things formed together. is this a bad thing?

Nope thats a good thing and the only thing would be that they where all connected and not wiggling around in the port. if you give them a jiggle and they dont move then further inspection would be required.
