Coolant temp ga does not work. It is not the coolant senser. Also fans only come on when ac button is pushed
If I drive with ac button on car will not over heat. Water is flowing thru the radiator so I know the water pump is ok. I think its in the wiring or the electronics. sometimes the ga will got to hot and back to cold while driving.

Russell, This sound like you have air in the cooling system, have the system bled for air. Other areas to look at are Rad cap faulty, thermostat, collapsing hose, partially plugged Rad inside/outside, intake/head gasket leak, etc.
Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

If air is introduced to the cooling system, it can get trapped and form a bubble in the liquid. This prevents the continual flow of liquid, and can create hot spots in the cooling system, depending on where the air is trapped.
Symptoms are an engine that runs hotter than normal, a temperature gauge that indicates hotter temperatures then air could move and temperature gauge will drop and repeat, inconsistent heat coming from your heater, and overflowing when the engine reaches normal operating temperature or after a hot shut down. The reason for all these symptoms is simple: the air can't remove or dissipate heat the way liquid can, and it prevents the coolant from flowing properly through the system. Coolant also expands as it heats up, which is the reason it overflows. The trapped air takes up space in the cooling system normally occupied by coolant, so there's no place else for it to go.
