Cools for a limited time only before unit must be reset
The unit I bought was set up just a week ago and after my a/c guy fixed all the error messages that were coming up the unit still doesn't work properly.
The A/C will seem to be operating normally until anywhere between 4-6 hours later the unit while still sensing that it needs to cool the room only blows air at the same temp. as the room.
This is easily fixed by turning the unit on and then off again but this certainly won't work for me as I'm using the unit to cool a server room and as such is left unattended for long periods of time...

If the unit was set up a week ago the technician should warranty his work and come back and take care of the problem for you, not knowing what was set up and how, it's hard to say if it's a problem with the unit or the control (t'stat or programming if it's a programmable t'stat).
If this unit was new one and setting was done accurately,It sem that the ac is tripping off due to several factors in case of tripping off the compressor there is a hi pressure that building up on hi side that could not expand normally on expansion valve, there's clogging of some impurities or substance such as air in the system, this will develop a high current to your compressor exceeding to the rated current of unit, resulting to trip off the ac.You can check this on taking the operating current while the unit while is running using clamp ammeter the current will register and compared this to rated current that specified in the compressor manual or the compressor casing it was tag there.Or check again the set up sequence at the remote control the variation of thermostat setting.
