copy a full page cover, it will print off the paper! what should i do? where should i start searching for the problem? mechanical, i haven't seen a problem... i think is software... how and where can i get a new rom version for it?

First is this a problem with just one draw? Move to a different draw. lets eliminate the draws and or the by pass tray. Does this happen when using the Document feeder. Place the original on the big glass does it happen then? Secondly have you the correct size paper are you using metric size paper and the machine thinks it is inch size paper. Have to let the copier know what country it is in. Does this happen when you print or when you copy? Check the guides in all the paper draws they have to be snug up against the paper
