You may need to empty your C:/temp folder. It's the accumulated content in the temp folder that's giving you problems. The temp folder accumulates bits of code from program installations, web pages, application errors, etc., and can cause problems if it gets too full.
Also, it's a good idea to keep at least 10% of your drive free. When you get below that amount, the disk swapping which occurs during heavy program usage overtaxes your system and can cause problems too.
