This is under Sansa m250, which doesn't have a "Square plastic cover above menu button" that I can see. But, if you don't mind blue instead of black, and you are out of warranty, you can get a M230 512mb recertified player from Buy.com for only $9 plus tax, free shipping, cannibalize the part (assuming you can figure out how) and have a 512mb thumb drive and an extra pair of earbuds for not much more than the part is likely to cost from SanDisk. Or get on their email list and wait a bit and they'll again be selling recertified M250s for about $17 pretty soon and you can cannibalize the part when the duplicate dies, as it eventually must if you don't lose it or run over it with your car. I have a dead M230 (since replaced by two working M250s) which I would send you for less than $9, but there's probably no way to do it within the terms of use of this site.
