CPSS CONNECTED TO SP1 OF DXX CHASSIS
When I Check for list of CPSS connected on my DXX node , I found one CPSS connected to Serial Port 1 of chassis . Somebody before me has done this now he has left the job. Plz tell me why is this so . Is it necessary to connect CPSS to SP1

This is just for to appear the node on NMS. so if you are having some problem with it you can change it but you will not see it on NMS.
