There are some wonderful resources out there for assisting in CORRECTLY setting in a protective car seat, and im glad youre not throwing a seatbelt around it and 'calling it good" Hospitals....before children come home, many hospitals will offer assistance in setting in your carseat safely and correctly, as there are a vast number of brands and types. They will be very happy to assist you.
Fire stations/Police stations.... the former will have much experience with car seat correctness, and how best to position for maximum safety. Police stations may have the inclination and desire to help, but the individual you speak with may not actually have the correct answer...so id firmly reccomend them, in that order!
