Craftsman single-stage snow thrower hard to push
I have a Craftsman single-stage snow thrower, about 12 years old. Last season it kept chewing up belts. Sears repaired it this past summer, and I used it in snow for the first time today.
The problem I have now is that it's now pretty hard to push, and it gets stuck on every crack in the sidewalk. It used to leave a tiny layer of snow, but now there's no residue at all. It seems obvious that the paddles or scrape bar (or something) is making too much contact with the driveway. I can't figure out what it is. Any ideas how I can troubleshoot and adjust?
Thanks!
Steve

You can adjust the guides on the side of the blower so that it rides on those. If they are set to low you will see the problem you have now. If they sit to low for a long period of time you can wear out the blade on the bottom.
