The Rolls Royce system is mainly electric. Open your fuse box and there are 3 red reset buttons. Push them all in and this resets entire system back to normal.

Check ALL your fuses. Fuses often cover more than one system so ignore the chart and check them all.

If all OK, is the alarm working correctly? Had anybody boost started the car or did it have a completely flat battery just before the fault started?

Your gear switch/ inhibitor switch may be faulty. and the system is preventing you from moving it to prevent you from starting the car in any gear other than park or neutral
