CS Code Got a CS code, checked things out and found the upper magnatron was bad, burned a hole in the air duct. Replaced the magnatron, still get a CS code after 5 secs or so. I tested and checked the lower magnatron and it seems to work fine. Not sure why its cutting off after a few secs. Any thoughts work be great. Thanks, Frank Monteleone 914.646.8105 Got a cs code ,was able to clear the code by un plugging for 5 sec.The problem is the panel lights come on ,the timer works ,but the top fan does not come on and the microwave does not heat.I did change the interlock door switch, still does not heatup
Symptom: Error code: "CS" appears in display Problem: Current Sense error: Current sensing circuit detects low current (amperage) draw due to failure of one or more magnetron circuits. Possible Causes: Failure of any one or more of the following components: HV board (see next step), HV diode (High Voltage Diode Test), HV capacitor (see next step), interlock switch (Interlock Switch Test), triac (Triac Test Procedure ), HV transformer (see next step), magnetron (Magnetron Test) Tests: CAREFULLY OBSERVE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS. Inspect foil side of HV board for burned tracks (foil) toward lower side of board. If burned, check HV capacitors (High Voltage Capacitor Test Procedure) and HV transformers (High Voltage Transformer Test) for a short. Otherwise test other components as outlined above. Solution: Replace defective components as necessary. If applicable, repair foil trace on HV board. For more details click on the link below:
