Use the dojox.data.QueryReadStore store since the combobox has rather lots of data.var combocarddef = new dojo.data.ItemFileReadStore({jsId: 'carddefStore', url: '/mack/ajaxdataprovider/get/'}); var viewCardDef = { cells: [[ name: 'Type', field: "type", editor: dojox.grid.editors.Dijit, editorClass: "dijit.form.ComboBox", store: combocarddef},

Hi..
You can use the 'Environ' function. For example, to use the Windows environment variable USERNAME you would do the following:
str$=Environ("USERNAME")
msgbox str$
If you wanted to send the string returned by the Environ function to an active HostExplorer session you would do the following:
str$=Environ("USERNAME")
He.CurrentHost.Keys str$
Thanks
