Dacor CM24T-1 Not Turning On
Hello,
I was just using the coffee system and now it does not want to start up again. The light works and the red on/off switch lights up so I know there is power getting to the machine. I also checked that the discharge container is empty and secure?? Does this unit have a built in circuit breaker?
Thanks JR

Hi:
No this unit this unit does not have a circuit breaker, but it does have a AC line fuse, if the unit is powering up then the unit has not blown any fuses, It just may need to be reset, the best way to rest it is to unplug it from the AC outlet and wait for at least 2 mins before reconnection again. This will reset the microprocessor circuit and possibly return the the unit to working order again provided there is nothing wrong with the main system control board.

No there is not. Though you may have light lighting up, doesn't necessarily mean the power supply is good, It could be weak and not putting out the voltage that it says it does. The voltage output should be stamped on or near the supply or on the back of the machine or in manual. You can check with a voltmeter to see if it is in specs. There are also may be a relay on this machine, you can check it with an ohmmeter to make sure it is allowing power to the rest of the unit. You can always cut the power for several hours, then press and hold the power/start button for 3 seconds and release. Wait half hour more and turn power back on and see what happens.
