Dance mat does not work
We have bought two mats now thinking the mat was broken. Because they are acting the same way I'm sure we are just doing something wrong. Please help. I plugged the mat in with wii system off then turned on and the mat is not working the hand controls work fine.

I had the same problem. I got the solution from a friend. Plug the mat into a different console on the Wii. I plugged it into the last one and now it works perfectly. Good luck!
