DANCO brand generic hose not connecting to supply
I am attempting to replace to pull-out hose for my Delta 470 faucet because the old one broke. Home Depot had a Danco 88266 model replacement that promised to work. It hooks up to the spout end, but it does not appear to fit the copper pipe water supply end, and looking at the old hose, the supply end differs from the one I bought.

You have to buy a Genuine Delta Part because Delta uses a proprietary quck connect fitting at the end of the hose.

Even the genuine Delta RP 44647 or RP32527 does the same, they do not fit the copper supply water pipe end, because the hole in these Delta replacement hose has a smaller hole than the older original polished chrome metal hose. Called Delta and they do not have a clue, but they think and insist that either of their RPs has to fit as they are right snap-in quick fit hoses contrary to the realty the customers are facing. Does Fixya has any solution to this problem customers are encountering?
