DCS 305 range: Oven Temperature Control is not working properly
I have a DCS 305 range. I am having a problem with the oven temperature control. When the oven temperature tends to be much higher than the temperature control is set at. If the contol is set at 350, the oven temperature may go as high as 425. Any ideas?

Thanks for using FixYa. These kinds of issues are usually caused by a faulty oven temperature sensor. Make sure the wire nuts/connectors are completely through the insulation and not touching the back of the oven cavity. If its resistance is less than 1000ohms then you'll need to replace it or else it's the glow igniter that is faulty and needs to be replaced.
