DEGX1 dryer is frozen on cool and won't turn on
My electrician was doing some work and cut the power supply for some time. My dryer was on at the time. When power was restored, the dyer's drum was closed and the machine stuck on cool. Is there a way to reboot the dryer? I have unplugged the power cord and plugged it back in but that did nothing!

Let this be a lesson for everyone. If the power to the house has to be turned off for any reason, please ensure all electronic appliances (audio, whiteware, computers, etc.) are turned off first and unplugged from the wall outlet. Make sure that the power is reconnected before turning on any computer controlled appliances to avoid damage by a voltage spike or surge.
