Since you have the latest drivers, the problem could be your network cable or the interface card itself. The last point of failure could be your router or the ISP's equipment. If other devices can access the network from your location, first try a new ethernet cable. Then, assuming you are using the original wired network port, you should try either a USB ethernet adapter or a PCI ethernet card. Most computer shops will have a number of these and there are some fairly inexpensive choices.
I hope this helps. (I keep an old router that had great diagnostic information. It showed that my old computer's network failure was due to many packets failing on transmission and receipt. A ~$25 dollar PCI Gigabit ethernet card resolved the problem and provided faster network access.)
Check that all drivers are installed and working in device manager as when I reinstalled Windows not all of the drivers installed and I had to do it manually. These drivers were the ones that give you access to the internet. These were network adapters and IDE ATA /ATAPI controllers.
Yes I have all drivers off driver disc from dell but internet is connected but no internet. Tried Ff and IE, both same. Also tried both WiFi and LAN.Yes I have all drivers off driver disc from dell but internet is connected but no internet. Tried Ff and IE, both same. Also tried both WiFi and LAN.

It will connect but not go on the internet whether it's Ethernet or WiFi
