Dell Dimension 2350. After I shut it down and try to turn it on the next morning it will not go on unless I shut all power to the unit, wait 30 seconds or so (not less), turn the power on and hit the on button… then it starts up. I’ve been using this process to turn it on for at least the past 6-7 months. Now on top of that the computer will all of a sudden die… looses all power and will not start up unless I go through the process mentioned above. A few hours later it will die again. I thought about replacing the power supply myself, but do not know if it will accomplish anything. Seems as if some kind of interlock is not working and my guess is that would probably be on a board.
