Delta Unisaw 34-782 Starts with a "Bang"
Hi. My Unisaw runs like a rock star - with the exception of when starting it. It either starts "normally" - a "soft start" where the the motor starts up gradually - then the next start and subsequent starts are "hard" ie the motor starts with a "bang" - goes to full speed instantly. Suspect the start capacitor. Thanks in advance guys.

The capacitor is probably failing. Take the motor to an electrical service center (most mid-to-large cities have them ... usually something like "Industrial Electric and Motor Service" ... and ask to have it checked. Caps are cheap!
