Describe your Excalibur Gas Hedge 22" Trimmer Blade Problem It starts up but runs for only 3 minutes or so and then stops. My husband is very smart and tried everything he knows. Cleaned any filters, there is no leak or crack in the gas cap, etc. Any other ideas? Thanks!

Back to basics, do you have a spark at the plug? do you have fresh fuel in the tank? have you replaced the pick up filter in the fuel tank? have you removed the muffler and taken a look at the piston face through the open port to see if the engine has nipped up?
