OK that tool has a bearing on the motor that I think is going bad. What you need to do is unplug the tool and turn the blade by hand, it will move tight but it should move, next if you are handy remove the cover on the side where the belt is and loosen and remove the belt and turn the top drive pulley by hand or after removing the belt plug tool back in and see if still makes the noise. Before going out and buying bearings the fan bearing is a son of a gun to remove you have to crush it and remove the inner race but we will talk about that later. Let me know what you see.
