Diamond VC500 stops working when any input is connected
I purchased a Diamond VC500 (for the purpose of streaming to justin.tv) and went through the driver/software installation. I run Vista Home 32-bit on an AMD Athlon 2.01ghz w/ 3GB ram. My problem is that the device is not working; the device manager shows that the VC500 cannot start (code 10).

I disconnected the device from the computer and unplugged the composite cables connected to the VC500 and then reconnected the device. Magically the device has no conflicts and functions properly. I double checked that Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder 3 could recognize the device and it did.

When reconnecting the composite cables to the device, the device immediately stopped working. I've tried uninstalling the drivers, reinstalling them, (I downloaded the specific drivers for Vista 32), rebooting, reconnecting the device, etc. As long as the device is actually connected to some form of input, it stops working.

Any ideas?
